First, the motor will be tested by attaching it to a similar set up to the battery while it is attached to the stationary bike to see its ability of charging the 12V battery. Then, a virtual test can be done by SolidWork to see the performance of the sheaves.  After that the final assembly of the drive train system will be attached to the structural system to figure out the final performance.

 

 

The issue with the set up that should be similar to the actual design is that it was providing higher resistance than the actual system.  Therefore, no accurate values were resulted of the similar set up.
