The drive train of this project contains several parts. The most important parts were the sheaves. There were two sheaves in the drive train assembly. One of them was attached to the motor; and it was already provided. The other one which is driven by the wheel of the bike, has to be 3D printed, so it could be attached to the small rubber wheel to provide friction.

One of the issues that we had was the pivot on the structural system that should provide the frictional force between the tire of the bike and the rubber tire. However, we decided that we should replace the pivot with a spring loaded shaft. Therefore, we attached two springs on the shaft, and they provided the frictional force needed.
